Sly & The Family Stone: Small Talk I've been spinning Sly's There's A Riot Going On and Fresh for days and I came across this album on the internet called Small Talk and I became interested in the album. How good is this album? Check me out and add me on:

Not real familiar with this release...
...outside of the absolutely jammin' Loose Booty. tA Tribal Disorder http://www.soundclick.com...dID=182431 "Ya see, we're not interested in what you know...but what you are willing to learn. C'mon y'all."

I think it's slammin', especially the tracks Loose Booty and Mother Beautiful.... IMO, if you dig Fresh, you'll like it...grab it, and, if you can find it, also grab the 1975 followup, High On You: ... An underrated funk classic. Bootsy even ripped off a line off of the title cut for "Bootzilla". Great LP and D'angelo stole a lot of his vibe from this joint.

My favourite track on "Small talk" is "Wishful thinking".
Sly sings so soulfully on that track. /peace Manki
