Ray Parker Jr's band from 1977 to 1981 was called Raydio, so it's full of his songwriting and solos.
Raydio's big hits include "Jack And Jill" (1978) and "You Can't Change That" (1979).

His newest album - you can check out some of the cuts on his myspace page - has some instrumentals on it.
Ray's a bad cat - was playing gigs when he was 16, played in Stevie Wonder's band, did a bunch of session gigs (where he played along with cats like Lee Ritenour) and did his thing with Raydio. They also had some cool instrumentals that got airplay back in the day. And of course, ya' got Ghostbusters... I even saw him in a film here and there. Ray also played on early Bill Withers, Deneice Williams, & Barry White albums. He also played in Marvin Gaye's touring band back in the 70's & that's him on Marvin Gaye's Live Album.

...
That's also him playing those guitar lines on Rufus and Chaka Khan's "You Got The Love" (which he co -wrote with Chaka)... But for the most part though he's played hundred of sessions (he also co-wrote Leo Sayer's "You Make Me Feel Like Dancing"), he's mainly known for his rhythm guitar, rather than soloing... ... Steve Lukather said Ray is one of the hippest and baddest rhythm guitar players on the planet. Coming from Luke that's a great compliment.
