The Power Of Music

I keep forgetting that music can make and break you. After having listened to that snippet of that new Prince song LOTS, which makes me dance, I returned to a bootleg folder of Beatles songs, slowly working my way through the new stuff.

Then, the John Lennon demo of Free As A Bird comes along, the melody that haunted me the weeks after my mother's death three years ago and I am sobbing again.

A good kind of tears, though. Sad, but happy. I love Johh Lennon's music.

hug Be it happy or sad, it's easy to be moved by good music.

And I cannot recall off the top of my head if the Lennon demo of Free as a Bird is on the anthology.

Ahem...

No, it's not. But it was the Anthology version that haunted me. The demo version has that melody, though...
