ThreadBare said: Rick's "I don't you. I don't need nobody!"
always reminded me of Jerome's turn as Tricky in UTCM: "I'm my own man... Just like... Libera-CHAY..." But Glow was 1985, UTCM was 1986!!!!!

I actually liked the song "Can't Stop",even though it was more "pop" than funk.Overall,'Glow' is a decent album...not one of his best, but there are several cool tracks.

vainandy said: "Glow" is the second worst album. The album that followed it in 1986, "The Flag", was the worst. Rick got a little better with the album "Wonderful" but he still wasn't the same as before. This seems to be the era when Rick and Prince swapped places. Rick picked up Prince's synths and Prince picked up Rick's horns. I thought that wonderful was wack. I liked the flag much better. Loosey's Rap was just okay. It was one of those flavor of the moment songs. The title track was by far the best song on the album and which he had a video for. Other than that that album was straight up wack. But still rick goes down as one of the greatest funksters of all time. We still love u rick. R.I.P Don't laugh at my funk
This funk is a serious joint

That the autumn sunrise haircolor is as good for a man as it is for a woman.

Yes Rick borrowed heavily from Purple Rain to make the video for "Glow". from the clothes, Straight down to the part where he goes out into the audience to get the girl. The song was funky though.
