I know it's late but I just saw the YouTube clip .
3121 was hot. Mics should have been a bit louder. Even without, it was hot. Why do you like playing around with my narrow scope of reality? - Stupify

I like seeing Janet in dresses. She should show her legs more often! Purchased bosomsss aside, dresses really flatter her figure when she flashes a little leg.
I really like how casually India.arie was dressed but how she just exuded all that fabulousness. She too, is another sister with GREAT gams. Kelis and her husband drive me crazy sometimes with their wardrobe choices...was it just me, or on the red crapet did Nas's pants look like they were pulled up too high on his gut? From certain angles, ole boy looked like he was wearin' 'floods' Prince? Chile please. I have loved the man's looks since I was a baby in the 70's but his age is starting to show by his wardrobe choices and occasional bad run-ins with a relaxer called Gentle Treatment. Beyonce looked very fit, but I wish her mama would stop making her stage costumes out of material that looks like Reynold's Wrap Aluminum Foil

Let me inform you that janet is not the only celebrity with money, yet few look this great! Don't hate congradulate! I agree. Just because one has access to trainers, chefs, etc. doesnt mean that youre automatically going to look incredible. You still have to do the work. Janet looks great. That body is bangin'. Hell yeah, it is. SynthiaRose said "I'm in love with blackguitaristz. Especially when he talks about Hendrix."

But c'mon y'all, you have to admit that she was looking a little "fatigued" in her close-up photo ops; it's difficult when you're of a "certain age" to drop all that weight so quickly and have your facial skin stay taut. I don't care how much melanin we have in our skin, we can get kinda droopy looking when we lose weight quickly, and particularly when we're at high stress levels and not resting enough...I don't know, all of a sudden we get all "saggy" in the eyes and cheeks

Oh stooooop it! :lol I already said the woman looked good, but was referring to the up-close photo-ops on this thread--- in photography STILLS, not how she appeared on the the show. She looks DROOPY. Big Whoo, it happens! No one is trying to hate on Janet or bring her down, the point I was making is that I can totally relate to what it's like when I've lost weight and am not rested; the eye area gets all saggy and you looked fatigued. We do pretty good up until about 30 with our skin just snapping back into shap like THAT (insert snap of fingers here, dear)! But after 35, even with the presence of melanin (which in other ways is our saviour against wrinkles and aging), going through a dramatic weight loss in a short period of time can make us black women look just as saggy in the face as everyone else. Good grief, I spend practically everyday of my professional life judging and editing film with respect to the female form and beauty and aging, so I am one who is apt to pick up on these little details every time a photo passes before my eyes. It's just in my blood, you don't have to get all defensive mistakenly thinking that I'm trying to run down your girl

[Edited 7/1/06 5:24am] I was referring to the red carpet ops posted in the beginning of this thread: she looks more fatigued in the face than usual, and again, I was pointing out how rapid weight loss, probably in addition to not getting enough rest can contribute to this. No need to take it personal with phrases like "Oh mighty great one", JW. It is a very true thing that I have a photo tick, but you shouldn't take it as me trying to denegrate anyone's opinion- we're all just having fun with this thread, right?

That is NOT what you told ME when we had that secret romantic rendezvous 6 months ago!!! It's okay, though! I'm going to spend every day henceforth committing myself to mastering the stairmaster as NO woman on this earth has mastered it before; and when I am done with my quest, you will one day see me in the distance and realize that I TOO have a booty of such absolute greatness, and you will feel sad and nostalgic for my folksy ways and what you left behind...!!! okay, so I guess you realize by now that I act a little crazy on Saturdays. You might just be better off ignoring anything I type today...and to think I haven't even had a DROP of alcohol and still don't know how to act. Okay, fine, carry on with talk of the awards ceremony and Penny's booty. We're all good here
