Lots of Prince fans are still mad that D'Angelo stole Price's shine during the 90s and then turned around around and wrote a better ballad than Prince has in a long time. They all get together and plan a D'Angelo bash post every now and then. Since D' was the last person to make a major change in R&B, they're pissed that Prince didn't do it but they dare not get angry with Prince, so they bash D instead. Such loyal followers.

I've heard so many artists say they were influenced by Prince and I think to myself...."Well, why the hell aren't we hearing stuff like Let's Work, Lady Cab Driver, or Erotic City".
