The BADDEST dude no one has ever heard of... I have been listening 2 Tonex alot lately. This cat is a really talented musician. I wonder why he is NOT more known. Have u guys heard of him? | |

This is Correct, Tonex is exteremely gifted -
I've seen him live at a Gospel Concert in Stockton CA, with Mary Mary. He has incredible range. On the Real, he can out sing Prince and Michael Live together. Not writing, studio or creating but live on stage, it woulld be very hard to find someone that can give that type of talent and energy. I recommend listening to the Out the Box CD- ( Not big on the Live DVD, alittle self indulging for me) Reportedly he is in Retirement cause he was getting hated on from alot of different people in the business and church folk. I'm sure he'll be back.. but mos def check him out. I've seen Prince (of course),MJ and Tonex Live and he's on their level. Has a song with Sheil E on the Out the Box CD as well. Peace twisted | |

Peace twisted I was at the concert where they taped Out the Box in San Diego. This dude is EXTREMELY talented. Check out his 1st cd. I wish he would go secular. He was supposed to move to Atlanta back in 2004 to work with Eddie Long but his father passed away and stayed in San Diego 2 take over his father's church. It's a shame that this guys talent will NOT be heard by the world. | |
