Whatever happened to Montell Jordan?




You guys remember..the guy who back in 1995
did, "This Is How We Do It."

Last I know was he released, "Life After Def" in 2003. (Title referring to the fact that it was his first album not on Def Jam and on Koch Records.)

I checked Koch Records Website and he was not listed as a current artist. So does that mean he was dropped from the label? Or perhaps it was a one album deal? Does anyone know what he is up to these days..?

the last track i remember 'im having out was "let's ride"--i had that on a cassette single. i have no idea what he's up to nowadays.

Lisa D & Vybin' Entertainment presented Montell Jordan at Black Cat Nightclub. The room was completly filled with RnB lovers as Montell Jordan sang all the girls' hearts away.

Only thing is..I still would like to know what is the status on his record deal..or if he is unsigned and just performing here and there...?

i remember hearing that madonna bought the rights to TIHWDOI...don't know if it was true or not (as long as she doesn't try to put out her version of it)
