More Music Store Madness Today's requisitions:
Eric Clapton - Eric Clapton (Deluxe Edition) Delaney & Bonnie - Home (Bonus Tracks) (I love this one!) The Eagles - One of These Nights Steve Winwood - Back in the High Life The Home album was recorded mostly in 1968 and features musicianship from Booker T. Jones, Leon Russell, Isaac Hayes and others. It's the first time the album's been released to CD, and I'm happy. For one reason or another it's been resequenced. That much, I don't get.

What do you think of her take on Piece of My Heart? I like it quite a bit. The production and musical arrangement, especially during the chorus, is fantastic. I'm no big fan of Joplin's version (I know, I know! ), so this one's rather nice to me. I think there's a lot more sensitivity in Bonnie's delivery. And who's your friend, JR?

And who's your friend, JR? You don't have to "I know" me. I much prefer the original version done by Erma Franklin better than anyone's to date. tA Tribal Disorder http://www.soundclick.com...dID=182431 "Ya see, we're not interested in what you know...but what you are willing to learn. I realized as we walked out that The Eagles were the odd men out. The rest had worked together at some point in time.

You should've gotten a Dave Mason album instead. tA Tribal Disorder http://www.soundclick.com...dID=182431 "Ya see, we're not interested in what you know...but what you are willing to learn. C'mon y'all."

That's why I said I'd thumb through his collection. I knew he was with Traffic and solo. I was not, however, aware (until reading up on allmusic) that he played with Delaney & Bonnie between the two projects.
