As much as I hate shit hop, I wish it would take over rock. Since white people are what made shit hop huge to begin with, hopefully they will react the same way they did when disco was a threat to rock. In the 1970s when rock artists were struggling because of disco (which was good music), there was a huge backlash. I'd love to see the same thing happen to shit hop.



That's not going to happen any time soon. As long as it is a cheap ass form of music to make and people have cheap ass tastes, it will live forever and nothing else will come along.
