I'm having Sade withdrawl symptoms!

Okay, so the woman returns after 8 years with a huge hit CD. Then she does a tour and releases it on CD and DVD.

Now? Nothing.

What the hell, Sade?

I am missing something along the lines of "Cherry Pie" and "Never As Good as the First Time." Every song, on every one of her albums is practically a classic! I've been playing her all day and guess I am just missing something new.

smoker

Anyone else miss Sade?

Yes we all miss her but you know how 'ol girl is, until she's got something to say she will simply remain silent. So unless the boys in the band get on her case we'll just have to wait a few more years.. sad

She has to be one of the most fortunate artists. She clearly does what she wants, when she wants, still sells loads and then pisses off for as long as she wants. Almost like Kate Bush but just not as musically interesting razz

Ottensen

this is the panacea i use to help me with my sade withdrawl:

www.beadybelle.com

from the cd "Home"-one dose of "Game"

from the cd "Closer"- one dose of "Tomorrow"

and for really stubborn cases, forget about the other two recordings and go straight for the cd "CEWBEAGAPPHIC"- listen to the tracks "When My Anger Starts To Cry", "April Fool", "Big Balloon", "Shadow", and "September" once daily for 7 DAYS.

-it's a Norwegian import, but Amazon does offer copies for about $12. The rich contralto of Beate S. Lecht can cure all that ails you.Best ingested at dusk w/ a glass of wine, or relaxing beverage of your choice coolmartini chair cool

There's always the new Amel Larrieux album "MORNING". The track "Gills and Tails" sounds like what Sade would in 2006.

I'm missing Sade too. neutral

I wonder if she has any idea how hungry we are for her music? I think she got a great taste the last time she went on tour—which now seems like a decade ago. Her name was not amongst the list of new releases for 2006. I like that she’s not into outdoing herself and pretty much never disappoints.

Gills and Tails is one of my favorite songs on that album.

Beady Belle...I like what I’ve heard on her site.
Been gone for a minute, now I'm back with the jump off
