I just heard this song and I'm dissapointed. It is very boring and I just don't see what's so unique about it or how it stands out from the rest.

It doesn't have a distinct sound in the least, but it's got a melody and it's catchy. In our holocaust of a mainstream music scene today, that's something, at least. nod

It has a pretty decent hook too, something else missing from mainstream music.

All I'm saying from all the hoopla and the OMG I love it, its going to be the hit of the summer, blah blah blah, I was expecting something more. But the hook to me is weak, kind of forgettable and it just gets drowned out with everything else. It's boring. But whoever enjoys the song, I say go for it. I'll be waiting for the second single.

i quite like the song now, its really catchy. It's the kinda thing you'd expect from Nelly. I think janet is doing the right thing with this, it's pleasant and will give her a hit, which is what she really needs right now.

lets hope the creative and experimental stuff is on the album as well.

I just listened to the song on aol.com. It's okay. Very inoffensive.

I just heard it today, but I heard it like 3 times.

This is not 1st single material Janet. The song may grow on me, but it sounds like
a 2nd or 3rd single possibly. Oh well.

I still plan on buying her album, but this is not the great comeback single I was expecting.

Beyonce's "Deja Vu" is going to be the hot summer song! razz

Don't all you Janet lovers come at me either!

I'm also a fan, but I am keeping it real!

Janet's track had its official release today and is already only about 3 million impressions behind the Beyonce track lol

Try 51.35 million impressions behind....

On day 2 of Deja Vu's leak, it was at 20 mill.

It was the wise thing to do , I have not been interested in Janet for some months now. confused I just stuck around the boards hoping things would change once the new era started rolling around but it has not. I was excited about "Damita Jo", now it's not even a garuantee that I'll be buying this album. I didn't want to become that female version of OIRE so I decided to move on.

Seems to be a pattern of sorts with JJ to do this.

That's The Way Love Goes/If

Got Til It's Gone/Together Again

didn't do it with All 4 U

I Want You/All Nite

This and whatever may follow

Problem is The material on janet. and Velvet Rope are light years ahead of anything she's done since. I'm a little disheartened that she's been trying to play it safe since Velvet Rope didn't do as well commerically as her pervious albums. And I'm sure dimise of Damita Jo won't help her want to try something different. For some reason I get the sense she is more worried about the numbers than doing something that is artisticlly daring for her.

It'll probably do well on radio... will I get the new janet maybe out of a feeling of nostalgia, sp, will I think it will come anywhere near her past success no.

I Want You wasn't the first single off Damita Jo. Also, didn't do it with her first four albums.
