Yeah. The colors and the creativity of design make Ice Creams stand out. They're not for everyone though.

NINE HUNDRED AND SIXTY SMACKEROOS FOR THIS?

what? ok, so i missed this when i commented before.

i take it back calhoun, this mf'r is crazy! even yamamoto wouldn't have the gall to charge this much for a baseball jacket!

and even if he did, you'd be surpried how many fashionistas wouldn't even remotely think of paying that price for it. accessories tend to be the things everyone will lay out for (luggage, bags, glasses, jewelry), but everything else people usually wait for the sample sales, or visit the manufacturers if they haven't already received a piece or two as a gift....ESPECIALLY for RTW???puh-leeeze lol.

On the street level, no one receives gifts and many don't know anything other than RTW. Of course, there's "their boy" with the "hook up", and there are the knock offs. But on this level, as crazy as that is, people will pay.

That makes me so mad for some reason! But people should be allowed to spend their dough on whatever they want, so let me just shut the hell up cool

...although personally, even as a fashion chick myself, it would be so much more FIERCE for me to see a kid on the street rocking a VINTAGE varsity jacket that they found at some cool thrift store instead...oh well, wishful thinking I guess...

I know. That would cover the semesters books and more. But no point in being angry over it. The ones that go vintage thrift are the ones confident enough to be different. Those that pay those insane prices for a name are desperately seeking street cred and/or status in that name because they obviously don' t feel their own is enough.

Wondering what the final straw will be, because we're overdue for a backlash. What if it's that jacket?

A little off topic, but it turns out that Pharrell is under contract w/ Luis Vuitton to appear in a series of print ads (like the one pictured above) and other events. That explains the conspicuous placing of the large LV bag in the Number 1 video w/ Kanye West. I would guess thats also why much of the Say Somethin' video w/ Mariah took place in a Luis Vuitton store in Paris.

Whether you have money or not, quality is quality. Nothing wrong with paying for that. But paying for a name, simply because it's a name when there's nothing to justify the price...that will never make sense to me...even if you have money to waste.

With a name like Billionaire Boys Club, you would think his product would look like those above. He should have gone that route...done a legit line the way P-Did did.

This is ridiculous!
This bling bling stuff really makes me gag...

It is tasteless and the worst of it is that some people are taking this shit seriuously.

I bet there is more than one out there who does not give a shit about how they are going to lead their lives in the next couple of years, happy-go-lucky working in McDonald's and then spending their scant wages on some gold or labels...

By the way, I don't think this Pharrell dude is gay. He might be metrosexual, though, which IMHO only makes things worse...
