I agree.
I'm not a big fan of Eddie trying to be a rock star,
but this is a great song.
A great Rick James song.

If you hear Rick's voice added in the choruses : "She wants to party aaaall the time !...etc " .... that's where it fits right (imo) .
Eddie's voice is very thin and i think that's a pity cause with a more powerful vocalist , it might have been more solid .
Because of Eddie's voice , i never could bare the listen 2 it .

It's like a Mary Jane Girls song though... it's just nice to hear another Rick James song.

It's just wack man lol All of Eddie's song efforts were a fucking joke to me but back to this particular song - even if Rick himself had put it out I would think it was one of his weaker songs for sure. I just don't like it, it blows nuts disbelief

The following is an eXtremely camp song , but i always thought it had almost some same-sounding synth-grips as in Party All The Time

lol Still, I've always loved "Wazupwitu"! I don't know why people are so hard on Eddie. Isn't it obvious his music CDs are still comedy? lol

Now, where's the video to "I Was a King"?
