this orger I met, TonyWilliams, is the drummer of his band. Last december when they were touring in Amsterdam he invited me and HamsterHuey and it was cool. He also joined the London Invasion. He still owes one orger a significant amount of money, but he vanished.....the prick!

He is so fucking cool. I saw him in London last December. Still got the drumsticks and the setlist we snagged from the stage afterwards.

Does anyone know his 'Permanent Shade of Blue' album? It's a really good album.

Yep, I have them all except for 'Feel' - ironically that was his current album at the time I started taking notice of him.

I love his album "get ready". Its got quirky litle british eccentricities. Hard to desribe LOL

"cuddly toy" is great too, but the album is kinda average. "Get ready" is the sorta album that stevie shoulda made, if stevie had any sense of humour about him.

I love Cuddly Toy and the album thats on. I bought that back in the 80s and STILL listen to that album on a semi-regular basis. Thing is, for some reason, I never pursued anything else by Roachford...didn't know he had anything else out until looking on here tonight. So his other stuff is better than the debut?? I need to seek that stuff out!!

"get ready" is really solid. Alot more rewarding, and i guess, individual then his typical 80's sounding album.

"funkee chile" is some funkee shit.
