Isel

It's so sad. I just hate to see ANYONE'S decline. Just think, a few years ago, she was on top of the world--or seemed to be. And now she appears to be a mess with her second child on the way.

I dunno. In a way, it's sort of like Michael Jackson. Here these people make it as youngsters, but then they just don't seem prepared to handle their success. I don't know which is the "correct" course because if they HADN'T made-it at the "right" time, the might NEVER had made it. But then again, it seems like there is always a price.

Ok. I'm actually gonna say something positive about Madonna. lol AT LEAST, Madonna graduated from high school, and she wasn't a product of this sort of "stage-parent" menatality. Her dad never "depended" upon her for financial support of any type of claim to fame. I think that's why Madonna handles show business very well because she is of her OWN making. Nobody "pushed" Madonna. She is the one who wanted success in the entertainment business. The same could also be said of Prince. That's why I think that in spite of their kids success and financial rewards, stage-parenting is not the best idea. It's just difficult to separate the child's dream from the parents. And it appears that more often than not, the child becomes lost.

I watched a little of it, all ready to laugh, but I had to turn it off. It was really kind of sad.

Watching the interview, I just imagined being, like, ten years old and watching a special about a pop star that was passe.

I hope someone understands that. Bad P.R.!
