I saw her on MTV today, I love her stuff. June 27th right? Enjoyed her concert as well a couple of years, very relaxed and uplifting at the same time. | |

Last night I heard part of the release at Virgin Megastore in SF. I liked what I heard so far, but since I didnt have the cd handy to look at titles, I can't comment on individual tracks. If you live in a city that has Virgin, more than likely they'll have headphones with her cd available for listening. If I have time, I want to go back and listen some more before I see her perform next Friday in Saratoga.
Oh and yes "Heart of the Matter" was a Henley release. I did hear that one. Never knew the right title, I always called the song Forgiveness. "Funkyslsistah… you ain't funky at all, you just a little ol' prude"!

I am not feeling "I Am Not My Hair"....how many of these "I'm Not _____" tracks are we going to get. I am sure I will like the other tracks, though. | |

Actually they stiuck the remimx on the lp with Akon. Her single version did not fit it because she used more hip hop beats when she went uptempo. It sounds like a bad idea, but no, it actually works on this CD. It just flows great. These Eyes is another slammin track. | |
