I forgot this record was going to be released next week. I've read the cover stories behind the project and it's going to be interesting to hear how much Diana was really influenced by jazz music. Do you think this will be an amazing record or just a weak retread of the Lady Sings The Blues soundtrack? I believe its going to be one of her greatest recordings that could've made her such a successful "vocalist" instead one of those disco divas or pop stars... What do you think?

i saw this cd at starbucks a couple of weeks ago. it's already out.

I look forward to the cd, i`m especially curious about her rendition of "Smile", which is a different version than the one who appeared on her 1976 album, in fact, i`m curious about all the songs...

btw, i remember hearing about a new album of newly recorded love songs, that would be out this year.
There was a rumour it would be titled "Love must be in the air". It`s been a while since i heard anything, i hope it still will be released...

I'm thinking about picking this up. Blender reviewed it in last months issue. They gave it 4 out of 5 stars.
