Britney wants to move to Namibia!

She (Britney Spears) justified her choice for Namibia stating: "Kevin has always been a fan of African-American culture, I'm sure he'll feel at home there, rapping with all the natives. Besides, there's lots of quiet unpaved roads where Sean Preston and I can go driving."

She continued her interview, to be aired on Thursday on the "Today show" and on Friday on "Dateline" by drawing lines between Namibia and California "because it's on the ocean and there's lots of sand. So if Sean Preston fell off his swing and landed on his head, there's less chance he would be hurt and we'd have those snoops from child welfare up our butts all the time."

Finally she admitted to choosing Namibia because of the strict laws against paparazzi - "I heard that Namibia has laws that let celebrities say whether or not journalists are allowed in the country. That's so important, even more important than getting the same villa that Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt had."

I dont think she ever truly recovered from losing Justin.
I think this is the true reason behind what has happenned to her.
She pretty much self destructed right after their break up.

Ever since then,..she has never been the same.

Getting married so quickly and having kids so quickly,...seemed more like a reaction to losing Justin.

I think it's so damn detrimental to grow up w/ the kind of attention she got - it's like she's trying to hang on to the "I'm sexy, look @ me!" thing when she needs to concentrate on being a whole person w/o all this fame shit b/c she's now responsible for TWO lives in addition to her own. THe public LOVES tearing this broad down as much as they loved building her up as a teen sex kitten. It's all pretty sick... as for the tearing apart and building up stuff...you know, this girl has been given access to things 99.99% of the world only dream about. i don't feel bad in the least bit if she wastes that access. some people have very modest dreams that never get realized due to lack of access. this girl is disgusting and should hang her head in shame.

LOS ANGELES (AFP) - Pregnant pop diva Britney Spears pleaded tearfully in a televised interview for picture-hungry paparazzi to leave her alone.



"I would like for them to leave me alone," Spears said, dissolving in tears after being asked on NBC's "Today" show if that was her biggest wish.

The 24-year-old is six months pregnant with her second child with hubby Kevin Federline, although entertainment tabloids have been hawking reports of an imminent split.

Motherhood brought unflattering pictures of the former teen sensation who was snapped driving her SUV with baby son Sean on her lap instead of safely buckled into a car seat, as required by US law.

Asked what she had to say to paparazzi, Spears asked them to think of their own families and grant her privacy and respect.

"You have babies at home. And you have, you have a wife. And if you don't, you have to realize that we're people and that we need -- we just need privacy and we need our respect. And -- and those are things that you have to have as a human being."

Spears, who shot to celebrity in 1999 with the song "Baby One More Time" and has since sold more than 60 million albums, has put her career on hold for more than a year but still stars in the gossip columns.

"People" magazine has lately speculated on the health of her marriage to former backup dancer Federline, now an aspiring rapper, whom she married in September 2004.

Spears has said she was fleeing paparazzi when she was snapped driving with her son on her knee in February.

"These people like they, I mean they want stories to sell and they're very good, you know. I need to come up with my own magazine and say the real deal."

She told the network the marraige was strong and the the couple are happily awaiting the birth of their second child in September.
