Nelly is kind of past his sell-date, yeah? When he combined those 2 albums into 1, seemed like a pretty direct message that this hotness had cooled. He's an OK rapper, and I do appreciate that he lays of the gangsta BS, but his style is kind of repetitive and I think a lot of people are over it.

leaking is not the reason a cd tanks. so many records leak a few weeks prior to being released and they don't all tank. it all comes down to proper promotion, good music, and unfortunately paying the radio stations to play your shit.
