Sooo many boys at my school tried to rock that hairdo. But there was only one who really did it justice. His name was Erik, and he had a high-top about eight inches high. nod

You know the bad thing about these haircuts? The pictures you take during those periods always seem to resurface. You could't even see the top of my hair in my original drivers license picture and I had that sucker for 10 years (the picture not the haircut lol ) on account of my impeccable driving.

I used to love that movie. The Kid vs. Play rap was the best part and I had a little thing for Sherane (spelling?). The movie is a little corny but holds up. Now, Class Act is an entirely different story-- the end of the Kid 'N Play franchise I suppose. disbelief

Play is into christian hip hop and runs like a production service or something calling HP4. Play had it rough back in the mid 90s. He was homeless and went bankrupted I believed and not to mention he and his wife then actress Sheri Headley (that light skinned chick that use to play Mimi on All My Children) were process of getting divorced. Play almost killed himself like around 1995 or 1996 neutral . But I am glad that he is doing okay now and also if being a reborn Christian makes him a better man then I am all for it. wink

DAMN, I never knew they were married!!! lol

She's probably better known (in some circles) for Coming To America w/ Eddie...

This came on late LATE the other night, I'd forgotten how funny some parts are & how many folks got their start in this flick...

Robin Harris: HILARIOUS, he had a LONG promising career ahead of him rose

Somewhere out there is a Robin Harris...

...HBO One Night Stand special that I must run down.

One of the last of the old-school comics that could ad-lib 15 minutes on what somebody's wearing in the 1st row.
He came on Donnie Simpson's Video Soul show and basically ripped Donnie a new one about something he was wearing.
Literally had Donnie on the floor he was laughing so hard.

I don't give a damn if Marvin Gaye 'gonna be there, you wont!

Yeah Shari did. Play had almost went to jail for not paying child support. For six years after their divorced, Play didn't had any contact with his son but he became closer with him after the court hearing. Also Play had another kid, his first son, name Chris by another woman.

They filmed it in front of my best friend's house. My buddy was pulling tino his driveway and Kid was standing in his driveway waiting for the next scene and my buddy didn't know who he was and he told Kid "Move, fool!" LOL! Hilarious.

Then, just 5 years ago I almost ran Kid over at LAX (Los Angeles Airport) as I was dropping my pops off. I almost clipped his high-yella ass.

Then 2years ago I ran into Kid at a liquor store in West L.A....the funny thing is...he was walking. eek

about 8 years back, Play either tried to committ suicide or was suicidal and then turned to the church.

House Party 3 was hilarious because it had Bernie Mac and Chris Tucker and AJ Johnson - They got RAW with that version of the series. Bernie Mac's dinner table scene was the funniest shit ever.

Class Act = "House Party Continued" evillol
[Edited 6/13/06 9:15am]

yeah, that was. Bernie made that movie watchable. Also, i like the part when Bernie first meets Kid in the movie. Bernie says something like "if people dont like u, THEN FUCK 'EM, FUCK 'EM UP AGAINST THE WALL". Its the way he says it.

I really liked "class act". I reckon its the best of the bunch.

In order:-

Class act
House party 2
House party 3
House Party

All are great, but House party is kinda slow in places, and that rap he does in prison is so corny. Full force were so funny in those movies.

In Class Act, does anyone else notice the synch is off when they're doing their wack ass rap for the school dance? After the break, Kid's vocals are off from the beat itself and the shit sounds more wack, wacker than the wack ass rhymes they're kickin'.

House Party 3: Another classic line from Bernie Mac = "Every summer I gotta kill somebody" (LMAO!)

I never noticed the sync thing, but the group that came out before them, had a stone cold newjack jam called "that body", used only in the movie. All newjackers love that tune

It sucks where i live. When i use to like in a latin neighbourhood in chicago, oviously loads of latino's and black people etc... but i was a small kid then. Now, living in th whitest part of the UK, u barely see any black people (but, thanx to a sudden rise in houses in norfolk, more ethnic minorities are coming in as it were)

And 0 latino's anywhere mad

"why'd u have to wear that body baby"
