this movie has to be one of the funniest of all time!!! I use to watch this movie entirely too much....
My favorite scene was when Kid and Play had that dance off with Sydney and Sharane..... Also the scene where Kid is suppose to pick up Bilal (Martin Lawrence) but he brings a girl with him and there is no room for Bilal, then him and girl get to arguing!!! also when Play was vacuuming and fell tryin to do a dance move.... i use to have the hugest crush on Play....where is he now?? VH1 need to do a "Behind the Music" on them.... The second one was okay and the third one was the worst...i didn't even bother to look at the 4th....but the first one is the best out of all of them!!! [Edited 6/13/06 10:06am] I will forever love and miss you...my sweet Prince.

StoneCrib said: They filmed it in front of my best friend's house. My buddy was pulling tino his driveway and Kid was standing in his driveway waiting for the next scene and my buddy didn't know who he was and he told Kid "Move, fool!" LOL! Hilarious.
Then, just 5 years ago I almost ran Kid over at LAX (Los Angeles Airport) as I was dropping my pops off. I almost clipped his high-yella ass. Then 2years ago I ran into Kid at a liquor store in West L.A....the funny thing is...he was walking. about 8 years back, Play either tried to committ suicide or was suicidal and then turned to the church. House Party 3 was hilarious because it had Bernie Mac and Chris Tucker and AJ Johnson - They got RAW with that version of the series. Bernie Mac's dinner table scene was the funniest shit ever. Class Act = "House Party Continued"

Classic. My friends and I still reference that line. We were OBSESSED with this movie! I was in eighth grade when it came out, and it was THE sleepover flick. You know you were doing "The Kid 'N Play" with your best friend at all your house parties! Admit it! I ain't gon' lie... @ the time me & my friends tried that shit... & we weren't even that young

"Why You Gettin' Funky On Me?" by Today was my favorite song on the soundtrack.
When House Party was out, I was often told that I looked like Tisha Campbell. That was a dis in my eyes because I didn't think Tisha was cute.

You could't even see the top of my hair in my original drivers license picture and I had that sucker for 10 years (the picture not the haircut ) on account of my impeccable driving. I used to love that movie. The Kid vs. Play rap was the best part and I had a little thing for Sherane (spelling?). The movie is a little corny but holds up. Now, Class Act is an entirely different story-- the end of the Kid 'N Play franchise I suppose.

I ABSOUTELY love this film. My favorite part of the movie is the cafeteria scene and the dance scene. Me and my brothers used to imitate Kid N Play kickstep dance too. I also love Kid's fad and I remembered that it used to be talk about back when they was popular.
I used to have a crush on Kid and Play that in middle school back in the 90s I used to watch either one of the house party movies or class act everyday after school. I also like the jail scene and when Bilau get called dragon breath. I like House Party 2 too and when they was in college and also that and House party takes me back to the New Jack Era. House Party 3 is okay I guess and back then I love it because of my crush on Kid and also because I think it was Bernic Mac's breaktrhough role and he was funny. Immature also stole the movie too that made Kid n Play more like supporting actors in their own movie! You guys remembered the KId N Play cartoon that came out? I used to watch it on Saturday Mornings. The only reason why NBC took it off because they want to get away from cartoons and that is where Saved by the Bell and some other crap TNBC shows came. Kid n Play cartoon did very decent in the ratings though. I remembered when House Party 3 came out and I heard Play on the radio that they was through with the House Party series. Yep they might have been through but they made House Party 4 with Immature (ugh) and now I am hearing that House Party 5 supposed to come out on DVD this year. Tell you the truth House Party should ended after the third series. Kid is a comedian now. Kid is good friends with Bill Mahrer. Kid is married to some cute model name Kimberly Taylor and been married for almost two years. Play is into christian hip hop and runs like a production service or something calling HP4. Play had it rough back in the mid 90s. He was homeless and went bankrupted I believed and not to mention he and his wife then actress Sheri Headley (that light skinned chick that use to play Mimi on All My Children) were process of getting divorced. Play almost killed himself like around 1995 or 1996 . But I am glad that he is doing okay now and also if being a reborn Christian makes him a better man then I am all for it.

Personally I think it ended too soon with the gangsta rap arrived. If the 80s electro music had came back for a bit for the last two years so will New Jack era.
