Well, he had his time. He realizes even himself that he had an impact on the pop music world a decade ago and now is getting older and cannot just continue rehashing the same thing. He never was a musician himself, rather a mere lyricist for the group of people who he employed as his "band".

The things you said here (minus the musician stuff) have all been said about Prince. He has reinvented himself a number of times and has even rehashed some of his old shit a few times as well.

I still miss the wit, charm, intelligence and style of Manson.

Teri, Marilyn Manson was one of the first concerts I ever saw. It was at first avenue...I remember I ran into my high school crush there and we kissed...aww memories!
