COMPTON, Calif. -- Eazy-E's son has been arrested on suspicion of possessing a concealed weapon.

Eric Wright goes by the name Lil' Eazy-E in his recently launched hip-hop career. He's the first son of Eazy-E, who was a founding member of the rap group N.W.A.

Eazy-E died of AIDS in 1995.

The 22-year-old was pulled over Saturday night by Los Angeles County Sheriff's deputies near Compton for a traffic violation.


A sheriff's spokesman said Wright had a firearm. Two others in the car were also arrested -- one for possession of a firearm, the other for probation violation.

Wright's first album, which was released this year, is called "Prince of Compton."
