Ex-Moderator | It's funny to me such a young person is such a fan of them.
I adored NIN when I was in high school. It feels like eons ago. |

I adored NIN when I was in high school. It feels like eons ago. Doesn't look like it was eons ago. They're brilliant. Untouchable. Haven't set a foot wrong (in my humblest of humble opinions), unlike some artists (not looking at this website's subject ). They're gonna be a band I love forever. I'm quite enjoying moshing out to it in my chair right now at 1am.

It feels like eons ago. i remember going to a NIN/bowie concert and being completely excited that two of my favorites were playing together, and then being royally peeved when all the goth moppets filed out of the stadium when NIN was done and bowie was doing his set...though i wasn't TOO peeved, cuz it gave us a chance to lose our nosebleed seats and sneak into the front row.

[Edited 6/10/06 17:02pm] i have bits and pieces of them together on tour, though my favorite footage is on that 'closure' video set...which, has that ever come out on dvd? i remember it was going to. anyway, it was a faboo show. it was before "1.outside" had come out, and it was my first experience with all that crazy new bowie/eno stuff. between that and the NIN opener, i was in high hog heaven.

I was camping with 2 girlfriends and we ended up dancing naked around a campfire to Pretty Hate Machine. So that's my NIN story. |

Closure is delayed for an indeterminate amount of time due to troubles with the old record company. Pisses me right off that does.

I was totally supposed to go to that show, but I had a college class I couldn't get out of. I bitched about it for several pages in my journal.

I like NIN...are we getting a new album anytime soon? "I would say that Prince's top thirty percent is great. Of that thirty percent, I'll bet the public has heard twenty percent of it." - Susan Rogers, "Hunting for Prince's Vault", BBC, 2015
