Unreleased MJ album called Ressurrection?

Is this real?

Resurrection is the rumoured title of an album Michael Jackson was working on in 2003. Production of the album was haulted in late 2003 when Jackson was arrested and charged with child sex abuse

Rumoured tracklist

The track list for the album was never revealed, however there were many rumours of songs, as well as several internet leaks of demos of songs Jackson was working on during 2003. Songs that were rumoured to be on "Resurrection" included:

"Another Day" (with Lenny Kravitz) - a song Jackson recorded with Lenny Kravitz. Kravitz said of the song, "working with Michael Jackson was probably the best recording experience of my life. He was totally cool, absolutely professional and a beautiful, beautiful guy. And let’s not forget, Michael is a musical genius".
"Crush" - a song Jackson was rumoured to have recorded in 2003.
"Prayer for Peace" (with Barry Gibb) - a song Jackson was rumoured to have recorded with Barry Gibb. Both musicians have neither confirmed nor denied this song.
"Pressure" - a song Jackson recorded in 2003. Appears on the ASCAP website.
"Seduction" - a song Jackson recorded in 2003. Appears on the ASCAP website.
"Ekam Satyam (The One Truth)" - a song Jackson was rumoured to have recorded with A.R. Rahman.
"The Pain" - a song Jackson recorded in 2003. Appears on the ASCAP website.
"Trust in My Heart" - a song Jackson was rumoured to have recorded in 2003.
"Xscape" - a song that was leaked to the internet in early 2003, later confirmed to be real.
Other songs that were recorded during the Invincible sessions, but not release on the album, that may have been kept for the 2003 album:

First sessions (1999-2000)
"All My Children" (Michael Jackson, T. Riley, R.C. Stites)
"Do You Love Me?" (Babyface)
"Do You Want Me?" (Sisqo, Dru Hill)
"Kick It" (M. Jackson, R. Jerkins, F. Jerkins, L.S. Daniels, N.Gregg)
"On My Anger" (M. Jackson, T. Riley)
"Seeing Voices" (M. Jackson, R. Charles, Sidney Fine)
"She Was Lovin' Me" (M. Jackson, C. Rooney)
"The Gloved One" (Sisqo)
"This Is Our Time" (M. Jackson, D. Foster, L. Hill)
"What's A Guy Gotta Do?" (Pharell Williams)
[edit]
Second sessions(2000-2001)
"House Of Style" (M.Jackson, T.Riley, Tyrese, A.Harris)
"I Don't Live Anymore" (M.Jackson)
"Maybe We Can Do It" (M. Jackson, P.Diddy, R. Jerkins)
"New Attitudes" (Michael Jackson)
"That Kind Of Lover" (M. Jackson, Ray Ruffin)
"You're A Liar" (Michael Jackson)

If real, the Pharrel, Kravitz tracks should be great...

Most of those tracks exist as far as I know, but the Lenny Kravitz one was an Invincible outtake, as was one with Lauryn Hill.

I doubt they're an actual album's tracklisting though, just random songs in the vault - particularly that silly title which fans have been harping on about as part of their own ideas of what the next title should be. .

Nope, only Xscape, which was a first draft version which is supposed to be totally different from what MJ wanted.

Looking at the list I'll bet most of this stuff sounds EXTREMELY dated.

You can tell that by song titles alone?

I´d love to hear all those songs. Some of MJ´s unreleased songs are better than released ones. The only song I´ve heard is Escape and for me it is one of the best MJ tracks ever.
"When Michael Jackson is just singing and dancing, you just think this is an astonishing talent. And he has had this astounding talent all his life, but we want him to be floored as well. We really don´t like the idea that he could have it all."

I remember reading a Roger Freidman article saying that he was on the verge of signing a deal with Murder Inc in 2003... to be honest, I'm glad it never materialised. Michael Jackson feat. Ja Rule? No fucking thanks!
