we used to hear it almost every morning on the radio when I was in elementary school...they used to play it a lot on Saturdays too...it probably gave many a mother an excuse to shove a pb&j sandwhich in front of her kids for the whole of 1980 lol

I heard this on the radio the other day, I was dancin so much in the car it was funny. Remember back in the day the song could be about anything as long as it had a great beat it was on the radio. Remember firecracker?

What's even crazier than that is that once I got the song in my mind I became compltely obsessed with having a peanut butter and jelly sandwich for lunch, just like in 4th grade lol lol lol !

Great, Fun Funk tune , written by Don Blackman (" Holding You, Loving You"), who was a member of Twennynine at the time!! I love that whole album, "Best of Friends" (came out in the fall of '79)....

Yeb , this album got great cuts :
- Best Of Friends
- Citi Dancin'
- Morning Sunrise ( another fine Don-tune )
- Take Me Or Leave Me

An excellent collabo of Don , Lenny & Larry Dunn .
It was fun , because i bought Don's solo-joint before this album and saw then where he started to grow his shelf-braids .
