Andrea True was also a porno queen, but decided at age 37, she was getting too old for the new adult film industry and switched to singing, she had a back up group called Connection and hence the name. The songs were all about sex, discos main ingredient, like Bubblegum music before Disco had a big uncircumsised trouser snake running through it called SEX.
More funny disco
Take me home and hell on wheels by Cher
Where is my man by Eartha Kitt, Alec R Consedinos presents Romeo and Juliet, I cant stand the rain by Eruption, Up in a puff of smoke by Polly Brown, All Tina Charles, Shake ur rump 2 the funk by the Barkays.

At the same time, I just LUUURVVEE tacky and love these songs all for there cheesiness.

PS Mad props for the Sesame street Disco album covers, I had those as a kid, I dont know what happened to them.

This one INSTANTLY came to mind!! lol

nod

I try my best not to criticize (my sig)
but this.....disbelief

It's like.....
imagine that you're looking into a musical pit that's so dark, deep & evil, that you could swear that it has to be bottomless.
That is, until you throw in a stone , & after a couple of minutes, when it finally touches the base of the chasm, instead of hearing an impact, you hear this song.

OTTAWAN were pretty bad, this French disco group had a super tacky and super cheap sounding late disco hit with Hands Up in late 81. This song barely scraped the charts in the US and got into the Top 20 in the UK where they loved tacky Eurodisco.
Here in New Zealand it was number 1 for 8 WEEKS!!!!!
It has evrthing that distinguishes Eurodisco, corny English as a foreign language lyrics, super cheap synthesisers and pre recorded musak and this European obsession with placing steel drums on any record by Carribean originating singers (eg Boney M) Ottawan was a guy from Martinique and a African woman (Steel drums are from Trinidad), they don't even play them in Martinique. It also sounds dated for the 80s, but here in New Zealand ze French disco was tres magnifique. 3 years later the French gave us the rainbow warrior blown up.

NEEDLESS TO SAY I LOVE IT!!!!

I Was Made for Loving You - Kiss (actually, the entire album qualifies)

His soul shall taste the sadness of her might,
And be among her cloudy trophies hung.
