From wikipedia:

She has since appeared on a number of VH1 specials including Where Are They Now in 1999, VH1's 100 Greatest Dance Songs in 2001 (More, More, More was the #45 greatest dance song) and VH1's 100 Greatest One-Hit Wonders in 2003, where she said she wants to be remembered as a person who "gave people pleasure" —then made sure to emphasize the following words—"for my music." She also made an appearance in the 2005 documentary movie Inside Deep Throat. She is currently living in Florida where she works as a counselor at a drug and alcohol rehab center.

I still haven't seen Deep Throat in it's entirety yet. hmph! It's reached mythical status for me by now. I'll surely be let down. lol

Mostly I'll just be watching it for the groovy fashions of course. razz

some of the tackiest stuff i actually like because of its tackiness/corniness/campiness:

damn near everything by boney m.

pino d'angio, "ma quale idea" (i'm listening to this right now, actually. redface)

celi bee & the buzzy bunch, "hurt me, hurt me" and "superman"

patrick cowley, "menergy"

the addrisi brothers, "slow dancing don't turn me on"

the gibson brothers, "mariana"

shirley and company, "jim doc kay" and "cry cry cry"

As much as I love this song, when I first saw this thread, the first song I thought of was "Push Push (In the Bush)" by Musique.
SynthiaRose said "I'm in love with blackguitaristz. Especially when he talks about Hendrix."

Yeah, right....But seriously, you're not missing much. It was a shock of course when it first came out, and it is indeed a classic, but to me, the film is very tame.

Yep, she was. And a teacher, too! lol From the liner notes of Billboard: Top Dance Hits 1976 (a great compilation!):

Nashville-born Andrea True studied music and drama in college, then moved to New York in 1968, where she taught music theory at Greenwich Village School of Music while remaining an acting student at Herbert Bergdorf's. She got her singing break while appearing at the Riverboat in the Empire State Building where she met drummer/keyboardist Gregg Diamond, who landed her a contract with Buddah Records. After cutting the vocals to More, More, More in Kingston, Jamaica, mixing was completed in New York and Philadelphia. Andrea is credited as being one of the first disco artists to self-promote her music by taking records directly to club DJs, which is how More, More, More broke in the clubs, eventually making the transition to radio.

Musically,it's a slammin' track music it's produced by Chic so it has their signature sound. But the lyrics and the vocals are terrible.
