Van Hunt live in London

Is anyone going to see Van Hunt @ 93 Feet East on the 19th June?, it's a bit pricey at £17.50

I think he may be trying to cash in as it's a solo show during his support stint for Mary J, by the way are you going to see Hot Chip at any of the London shows?, I see they are suporting PSB at Tower of London soon.

We are supporting the Pet Shop Boys at the Tower Of London on the 28th and 29th of June- I think the 28th is sold out already but you can still get tickets to the 29th if you want.

Also, if anybody lives in Ghent come and see me DJ at the Culture club on Friday the 23rd June!

Again, really sorry to all you people that do not live in London or Ghent!! Joe x...

Above is from a myspace bulletin. I was not able to go to either London gig because of work, how was Kings college?, hope you enjoy tonight

Aha.. Didn't see that bulletin..
Kings College was really good. I've been going to see the Chip for the past 4 years or something, I went to school with 3 of the band members, so have been listening to them for time..Have you heard the first album Coming on Strong? There's also an EP called Down with Prince with some cool tunes on it

They're great live, though, really refreshing, they're playing a couple of the festivals this year, you shuold try and catch them smile

A kind of stupid question , but, do you guys think they might be charging so much to cover the production costs of doing a London gig? Who knows how VH's rider and contract were set up, but, for any American artist that doesen't have mega sponsorship behind them, London is sooooo expensive. That exchange rate between the US$ and the British Pound really kicks us in the ass cool

Got Coming on stong and liked it, it's very funny especially the lyrics to 'Playboy', then i got the 5 trk sampler for Warning but haven't bought lp yet, might get it on vinyl with extra 7", but still trying to get my hands on 'Down with Prince'as people keep promising but then coming up short. Fill me in on the gig tomorrow pls.

Nah not really, if you know the club you will find that there are virtually no production costs for playing there, you just get on stage and do your stuff, that £17.50 is most like to cover the cost of getting him to play there as most gigs cost no more than £10

You've gotta get it alllll! Sexual Chocolate is on the Down with Prince EP too and that's a cracker.

They were fab last night. It was hot hot hot and Alexis sang Little Red Corvette at the beginning of Crap Kraft Dinner.
A friend of mine who I took to see them about 2 years ago agreed that they have fine tuned and grown into be quite a band. I think they are very underrated indeed.

Next time I check myspace, I'll add you as a chum!

His live show in NYC last month was great. The band is very Sly And The Family Stone.
