moments of live footage I've seen of them.

I wish I was there. love

I read in the concerts forum that you'll be in NYC in two weeks. Is that for the Robert Plant show on the 23rd? If so then you are true fan!

Yes, I will be. nod But I doubt I'll see him perform (he's doing a benefit for Arthur Lee of Love, who has leukemia and has no health insurance.) because I have limited funds this summer. sigh

I know it's for a good cause, but I just don't think I'll make it.

Maybe I can stand outside the stage door and wait for him though. lurking

That's too bad. The Beacon is a great venue. Pretty much every seat is a good seat. Those benefit shows can be pricey. I remember tickets for the Tori Amos/RAINN benefit I went to a few years ago costing a lot more than usual at the time (Tori mention reminding me again of her to me unheard duet with Plant).

Yeah, I've heard it's a great venue. nod Also, there will be a lot of other performers as well as Robert, so I don't feel TOO bad about missing his bit in it I guess. I would if Jimmy and John Paul Jones were there as well.

And speaking of, both Robert and Jimmy Page are playing at Montreux this year. bawl I totally would have gone if I hadn't booked my U.S. ticket already.

And Jeff Beck's playing at North Sea Jazz. bawl And I live here! Right in the same city! nutty But I'll be gone. grrr

Well, I'm going to a few shows that week so feel free to show up at any one of them and shock the hell out of me:

17th: Nine Inch Nails / Bauhaus / Peaches at Jones Beach
18th: Nellie Mckay at Joe's Pub
21st: Morningwood at Warsaw
23rd: AFI at Roseland or Erase Errata at Knitting Factory. (Haven't quite decided yet. I may go to neither.)

He's got many pairs like it with patches over the snausage actually. One with doves, one with the Union Jack flag, etc. lol
