I was amazed the first time i heard "Lean on me", she held that note for ages...

She's had a lengthy,consistent career with many hits

I love Melba Moore....the first time I saw her was on Broadway in Purlie, and later in Hair...she is an awesome performer who deserved much more acclaim and attention than she received.

Melba Moore was and still is a great singer and it is very unfortunate that she had to endure such hardships in her life .
