The long version that's on the 12" is the shit.

Sick bassline. Same for the background vocals. If someone was paying $20 million, nobody today could lay down background vocals like this.

And did I mention utterly perfect arrangement?

Love this shit.

LTD (Love, Togetherness, and Devotion). I wonder if a group of black men could form a group with that name today and be successful?

Anyway, LTD is one of my all time favorite groups and this is a classic jam.
I am convinced Beyonce's career would not be where it is, if she had dark skin.

I don't know about the name, but a group of Black men forming band and actually playing instruments would never be successful in 2006. Those days are long gone. sad

I know about MC. lol

They've been around for almost 15 years. They are not really commerically successful.

There hasn't been any real commercial black band representation in the industry for years.

Gone are the days when there were tons of black bands...Cameo, EWF, The SOS Band, Slave, LTD, The Ohio Players, Confunksion, The BarKays, Midnight Star, The Isley Bros, The Time, Lakeside, Kool and the Gang....sad

sorry for the rant boxed
