Battle of The Epic Rain Songs Just thought of a cool idea…
Purple Rain(P) vs November Rain(Gn'R) vs The Rain Song(Led Zep) Which one's your favourite?

LMAO! Of course Purple Rain. The instrumental alone trumps the other two.

Purple Rain.
Now if you'd added the Whether Girl's "It's Raining Men", I would have picked that instead

Peabo's "Can You Stop the Rain" is excellent. "Whitney was purely and simply one of a kind." ~ Clive Davis

What about Madge's Rain? Or Eric Clapton's Let It Rain? Or Tina Turner's I Can't Stand The Rain? Or Milli Vanill's Blame It On The Rain? I remember Carl Thomas singing Summer Rain a few years ago. Does the Carpenters' Rainy Days and Mondays count in this list? What about Riders On The Storm by the Doors? Or Blind Melon's No Rain? Or Peter Gabriel's Red Rain from the So album? Didn't the Who and Ashanti each have different tunes called Rain On Me? Who can forget Creedence Clearwater Revival singing classic hits like Who'll Stop The Rain and Have You Ever Seen The Rain? Or maudlin hits like Barry Manilow's I Made It Through The Rain or Phil Collins' I Wish It Would Rain Down or even Mariah's Through The Rain? What about James Taylor's classic Fire and Rain? Should I be able to include Garth Brooks' The Thunder Rolls?

well technically the who song is Love REIGN O'ER Me, not Love RAIN ON me, but as an epic power ballad it's definitely one of the best.

I was never really a Who fan, and I do plan on trying to get more into them, but this song is just awesome.
