Hard to come up with debut albums. Many debut albums I like the most, are actually just the artists' first full-length on a more visible label, and they've come up with a number of EPs or self-financed albums before them. And of course a lot of names I like have recorded music under many other monikers for years, so technically speaking, calling them "debut albums" would be a bit unfair to some others who just release music under their main project.

2)Rob Thomas - Something To Be 3)Will Smith - Big Willie Style 5)Justin Timberlake - Justified 6)Avril Lavigne - Let Go Of ALL TIME? Honestly, I usually don't get into any artists off their "debut" albums and while lots of fans stick to the motto, "Debut albums are the artist at their artistic peek." I think that is a bunch of a garbage. The reason being, think of it like a child. Would you say a child who was amazing at Math at the age of 11, was at his "mathmatical" best at that age? NO WAY. You would probably say they were at their peek during their 20s/30s/40s/50s etc, when they had learned more, had a job, etc. Point being..just because it is a debut album and the does not make it the automatic "best" or most "real" album by any artist. So yes, this list is all time. (Maybe my list isn't made up of the "orger" standard response artists.) However, personally I thought Seal's debut wasn't nearly as good as the follow up or IV. As for MJ, I know lots of orgers love Off The Wall. But technically, Got To Be There was his first solo disc.

Hell, there's a ton of great debuts out there. Impossible to narrow them all down to a scant 10. I didn't even include Moby Grape. tA Tribal Disorder http://www.soundclick.com...dID=182431 "Ya see, we're not interested in what you know...but what you are willing to learn. C'mon y'all."
