Has anyone ever seen Mariah perform live? She doesn't give half the show Prince gives, plus she just stands inone place and sings.
Does she have a lot of dancers, props, etc. WHo has seen her live? I love her, and i almost brought her tickets for $85 a piece for great seats at the Verizon Center in DC. I dont have a girlfriend but i will just take who ever im phucking, i mean dating at the time.... Anyway, who has seen Mariah perform live besieds TV? Hit me up and let me know what her performance is like? I almost brought the tickets...i went to the $45 tickets - and they are horrible. The $85 tickets are great! I think a lot of artist charge a lot becasue they only want a certain caliber of folk attending their concert. They dont want Uncle leroy and them going, they want the professional career, grown n sexy type folk attending. Just a guess....

I would have paid big cash to see her around 1995, when her voice was like it used to be. But now it's pretty busted live. Have you ever seen the Live at MSG DVD? Great, great, great vocals. I don't care if she just stood in one place as long as she sung like that, but I know it's not going to happen on this tour.

I think I would feel better if there was some great opening act performing as well, or maybe some funny comedian, but $170 (4 a pair) is steep. I'm tyring to think of a opening act?....

I've seen her live and truly enjoyed it. Some of the songs were rearranged, she did extended versions and improvised alot with a choir. She was also very personable with the crowd.
I think most concert tickets there days are expensive unless your seeing someone underground at a standing only venue. I have floor seats for this tour and my tickets were about $90. I'm just looking forward to having a good time and it's always fun to see the crowd reaction when they see someone who doesn't often tour because they really appreciate and get into the show. Been gone for a minute, now I'm back with the jump off

I don't care if she just stood in one place as long as she sung like that, but I know it's not going to happen on this tour. I saw her perform in 2000 and 2003. In 2000, she had a whole bunch of dancers, she performed some silly skits, and she actually invited fans on stage for a champagne toast (bastards!) though she had Coca-Cola for the underage fans. her voice was really strong on that tour. In 2003, she had a whole bunch of dancers and went through as many costume changes as Cher in her heyday. Her voice wasn't as consistent then, and she struggled to hit a lot of high notes. But I still enjoyed her concerts immensely. But let's be honest. How many people are going to perform as well as Prince? You can probably count the number of outstanding live performers of Prince's caliber on one hand. Anyway, as much as I love Mariah (especially in 2000), I saw Janet Jackson live the following year, and her show blew Mariah's out of the water.

I put Prince on a whole different level. I mean some shows you just can't compare. What's important is that you have a good time. Been gone for a minute, now I'm back with the jump off

Hmmm. 'm debating right now. Shall I buy tickets? The $20 were nose bleeds, while the $125 were closer and off to the side of the stage. I love Mariah, I do...I have every album, remix, and even a unreleased song or 2. But will I be bored? Janet, madonna, prince....no issues.
someone help me. Im in Seattle fo key Arena...shall I do it? Denn

It's much cheaper compared to Madonna's tickets (whom I'll be seeing in Chicago in a couple of weeks; I can't wait!!). So I did buy two tix to see Mariah Carey in Chicago on Sept. 11 (my birthday; actually it's on Sept. 12) and they're floor tix compared to the same price to see Madonna and I'll be seated way up there. I love both of them as performers!! Of course, no one compares to Prince; I hope he announces a tour soon!! "Just like the sun, the Rainbow Children rise."

I am considering getting a $40 or $70 seat, but they are upper balcony (in the nosebleeds) of the American Airlines Center in Dallas. **--••--**--••**--••--**--••**--••--**--••**--••-
