just got a new Roberta Flack compilation....what are your favorite songs by her? 
Killing Me Softly With His Song Where Is The Love--Roberta Flack and Donny Hathaway Feel Like Makin' Love The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face And So It Goes Tonight,I Celebrate My Love--Peabo Bryson and Roberta Flack The Closer I Get To You--with Donny Hathaway 'Til The Morning Comes Back Together Again--with Donny Hathaway Making Love Only Heaven Can Wait (For Love) Set The Night To Music--Roberta Flack and Maxi Priest You Are My Heaven--with Donny Hathaway Oasis Don't Make Me Wait Too Long And So It Goes (reprise) Trade Winds this is a nice compilation,but where is her 1981 hit "I'm The One"? That's the one song from her that I can't seem to find  it also would have been nice if they had included her 1977 song "Why Don't You Move In With Me",a popular track from her 'Blue Lights In The Basement' album.

I love "Feel like makin` love" and especially "Will you still love me tomorrow"  , i`m suprised it`s not included on this compilation...
I don`t have any Roberta Flack records, where should i start? This sounds like a good compilation, and i`m very curious about her "Quiet fire" album

"The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face".....
There is someone in my life that really brings this song close to my heart and can get to me every time, no matter how often I have listened to it....  "Love and compassion are necessities, not luxuries. Without them humanity cannot survive."

It was almost perfect but "I'm the One" is missing. Other than that, I like 80% of the songs listed.  "Funkyslsistah… you ain't funky at all, you just a little ol' prude"!

The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face 
The Closer I Get To You--with Donny Hathaway Back Together Again--with Donny Hathaway You Are My Heaven--with Donny Hathaway Oasis I know there are more songs but these are the most popular and right off the top of my head. I absolutely hated Beyonce and Luther Vandross's version of The Closer I Get To You. I get chills from Roberta and Donny but the remake left me empty. Been gone for a minute, now I'm back with the jump off | |

It`s nice to hear some uptempo Flack songs, so "Don`t make me wait too long" would be another pick. This probably sounds crazy, but her vocie reminds me of Carly Simon in some parts of that song | |
