One of my favorite Stevie Wonder tracks. His vocals make up for Jermaine's...and the lyrics you quoted are Stevie singing, aren't they? lol

That's one of my favorites also. I love the way it breaks down. I started to do a thread on that song but I was afraid no one else would remember it.

Ndeed!! Actually, I think all Jermaine's albums in that early eighties period are underrated...

Jermaine Jackson is very underrated. He had so much potential to become one of the greatest R&B/Soul singer.

When I was younger I really hated this song. I think the key it was written in bugged me. But when I got older I could truly appreciate it for the jam that it is. One of Jermaine's best.
Been gone for a minute, now I'm back with the jump off

How about "Let Me Tickle Your Fancy?" with DEVO? That was a funky new wave song by JErmaine.

What I like about "Lets Get Srious" is that live band feel. I miss this Stevie sound now that hes all digital. no jammin. This song sounds like they played it live in a club and pushed record.

Very tight jam! I have always liked Jermaine and thought he should have been bigger.I guess,he did pretty well with this jam and some of his late '80's stuff.

That was a cool song...a totally new sound for Jermaine.I'm surprised that it wasn't a bigger hit on the pop charts.
