The Raconteurs - great new Album. 'Broken Boy Soldiers' hi, i thoroughly recommend this if you like 70's style retro rock or even if you enjoyed the last JET album. Jack White and Co really deliver across just 10 tightly focussed tracks. Recall the days when Prince only had 8 or 9 tracks on a CD and no room for filleR!. Anyway hope you enjoy it.

I also hear Beatles influences on the album so it could be late 60s/70s. The single "Steady As She Goes" is amazing.

I don't like it. It's like Jack White wanted to make his music generic.

I like it. I think I'm one of the few people that considers 'Get Behind Me Satan' the best White Stripes album, and I like what I've heard of 'Broken Boy Soldiers' so far, too. [Edited 5/24/06 10:52am] I'm the first mammal to wear pants.

Loving track 6 - Level.
Love the dueling guitars and vocals, with their stereo separation, keeping things balanced like a level. Very Hot song. Later [Edited 5/25/06 10:06am] Cause tomorrow is taking too long
