PSB-"Minimal"
I'm starting to dig the album although it could use more upbeat/dance tracks.

I see a perfect balance between fast and slow tracks. There's enough upbeat for me:
"Psychological"
"The Sodom and Gomorrah Show"
"Minimal"
"God willing"
"I'm with Stupid"
"Integral"
+ The Resurrectionist + Fundamentalism dancing jig

It's probably the only officially released Tori recording I've never heard. I think I even have the cassette single of the Tom Jones song in which she sang background. But for some reason, that Plant duet always eluded me.

I have loads of gaps in my Plant solo work collection. And whenever I think of Tori and Robert together, I'm always reminded of an interview I read once with her and she said that when she was younger, she and her girlfriends would put on Zeppelin and masturbate to it. falloff

Hmm, somehow when I was a teenager, I wasn't doing that with all my friends in my room w/ me. I think she's lying. razz

Not weird at all. I think you'd like it.
Live in studio performances mixed with interview segments (explaining how they developed their style) with Ms. McPartland.
Small band (piano, guitar, bass & drums) arrangements of some classics (Josie, Chain Lightning, Black Friday) along with tunes by Ellington & W.C. Handy (played with McPartland).

The interviews alone are worth it.
They actually give straight answers for a change. cool
It's probably because they respect her as a musician instead of how they feel about Rock interviewers.

When I first saw it I thought it was Marian McPartland playing Steely Dan...NOT...it is much more than that.
They actually end up asking her questions and learning from her....quite a stunning CD, I must say as I pat myself on the back! lol
