When I went to see Maceo perform at the Jazz cafe in London (Candy Dulfer appeared as special guest) this year I met his promoters and they said he was releasing a new album in September/October that is supposed to sound similar to the Diamonds and Pearls album, has anyone heard this and/or when the album will be released. I loved Dial:Maceo!

dial/maceo sucked big time, snore... If you want a real maceo album get "Live on Planet Groove".

Hey who did you talk to in London? I asked Maceo'speople at his New York show in June about a new album and they said nothing like this but that they had hoped for a Fall release and it might now be postponed a bit... No-one said anything about Diamonds and Pearls...
