She was a fairly respected model in the fashion industry, had an acumen for using her name to liscence overseas brands that no one in America had heard of, thus make some decent money independent of her Hilton inheritance. However that was when she was much younger, kept her damn mouth shut, & behaved in public like she had a modicum of sense.
