If it was anybody else, it would have been sad but Cher had a lot of fun with it. Unfornately, it was like the last thing she did for Geffen. It got her a little bit of a hip rep with the kids after making mostly AC lite rock and starring in movies aimed toward an older audience. BUt I don't think it was a hit in the US, but I think it might have hit number one in the UK, shockingly....might have even been that very famous Christmas number one! I know that was the first album/CD I ever got.
