George Michael: MTV Unplugged

does anyone know when George Michael did MTV Unplugged? And is the album available for purchase?

I looked on Amazon.com and they don't have any record of it neither does VH1.com, it doesn't show up on his album listings....

can anyone shed any light on this for me???
I will forever love and miss you...my sweet Prince.

i found that on a bootleg years ago. it's excellent. a track was used on an ABC special celebrating MTV's 20th anniversary somewhere in the 90s

I have the DVD and the quality kind of sucks. The bass kind of cracks out. However, it is a great watch. The performance of "Freedom 90" is beyond amazing!!!! music

Some of it is available on "Ladies & Gentlemen: The Best Of..." DVD, from memory, You Have Been Loved and Star People are from MTV Unplugged (and one more I think).

Star People is fantastic - his voice in in good form and his backing vocalists do a great job.

You can pretty much make the unplugged album using the existing b-sides and the DVD audio.

Shame it never got an official release. Even George thinks its his best performance.
