Would this type of "AMERICAN IDOL" show work? LOL!
would an American Idol type show based on people playing instruments work? Why or why not. Would anyone watch or even care? ...lol | |

Though I'm not exactly a huge fan of Pop Idol shows, I'd like to see a version of it (if they are produced anyway) where either
- people have to play an instrument (guitar, piano) in their performances or - whole bands take part with their own songs (like some kind of band contest). Could be a change from the TV karaoke usually shown.  | |

I guess the combination instrumental/vocal could be interesting .
Singing while playing guitar , bass , piano , drums , percussion is a great challenge . | |
