Well, seriously speaking what I find weird is not the skit itself, but the fact that he was well over forty years of age when he did that. Worse yet were the lyrics of "Butterflies" in the same context. Admittably one of his best songs of late, but "you give me butterflies inside"? Do even 12-year-old boys say something like that? 8-year-old girls perhaps.

I never thought about it that way The chicks who wrote it have gotta be in their 20's-30's, for me it's more of a feminine vs. masculine saying than an age appropriate one. I still hear women (of all ages) talk about getting friggin' butterflies

Now...U know FLOETRY wrote that song? Right? Well, yes. I knew it wasn't written by Jackson himself (altough the reason why the song is good isn't the songwriting really, but the arrangement rather, but that's another issue). However, he has the sole artistic responsibility over what kind of material he chooses to put on his own albums, therefore it is his "own" lyrical line. And it's a bad one.

Now...U know FLOETRY wrote that song? Right? The scariest part about "Butterflies" is that it was inspired by watching some young boys/school children in a water balloon fight-That is according to the Vibe magazine issue (in which MJ did confirm this) from mid to late 2001 when they were discussing the songs on Invincible. It totally ruined the listening experience. "Old man's gotta be the old man. Fish has got to be the fish."

Breh the arrangements where by floetry as well... and he technically didn't choose to put it in... THE DEVIL, did, Butterflies was Cut from the original tracklist back in August of 01 but execs redid the tracklisting, knowing that it would generate a hit on RnB radios, MJ was and still is not soley in charge of what gets on his albums, thats why i can't fully blame the catastrophe of Invincible on him... there were plenty of Good tracks meant for invincible they simply just got cut Ironically by MJ himself at times... (ego trip) its funny the tracks that were cut, were generated hits by other artist... Like I love you... Justin T, You Don't Have to Call - Usher etc... whole bunch of others...
