TIME EXPOSURE-STANLEY CLARKE

So,I'm searching on amazon and i-tunes and come across this Andre Cymone looking album cover. It's Stanley Clarke.I read up on it and listen to samples. Man,I dig it. I want the cd,but it's like,$30 and I shouldn't do that. So,I d/l at i-tunes,but,unfortunately,they deleted the first song,"play bass 10".That song is hellza-poppin'!So,I gotta get that song.I don't know where, yet, but gotsta have it.Anyway, this music is sooo underrated. I never knew it existed. It is clearly fire and Stanley's playing is some of the best I've ever heard. This is a truly funky and well-executed album. It's not jazz, but a past-tense futuristic funk fest. Now,I kinda' wanna spring for a cd copy!

"I Know Just How You Feel" has Jeff Beck on it.

Just wanted to say I've been listening to "Yesterday Princess" by Stanley Clarke.

love that album, the prodcution, the sound.. very "dry" and sohisticated

and it has "Heaven sent you " with Howard Hewitt on vocals on it... now that's one brilliant 80es gem right there music
Vanglorious... this is protected by the red, the black, and the green. With a key... sissy!
