of course.there Horns are what I have truly always dug about them.but there Vocalists also brought another Element to them IMHO.I enjoyed there Two Disc Anthology alot.I wasn't really crazy about there Albums on a Whole but there Jams that stand out are some of the Baddest Songs over the past 30 Plus Years IMHO.Peace

I saw them live a year ago at "Sunfest", a little shindig we have here in South Florida every year.

Those guys are way better live.

Talk about dynamics!

Now the Hornheads are very funky too!

Despite a great hornsection, Tof P is only as good as their vocalist. Thier current lead, Brent Carter, is their best shot since the heyday of Lenny WIlliams '73 -'76. Their last release was Soul Vaccination: Live! from 1999 a complete set from their '98 tour. All the old school goodies are there, plus some of the better songs without LW.

Songlist

1. Soul With a Capital S (Castillo/Kupka) - 5:05

2. I Like Your Style (Castillo/Kupka/Milo) - 3:42

3. Soul Vaccination (Castillo/Kupka) - 4:56

4. Down to the Nightclub (Bump City) [Bump City] (Castillo/Kupka/Milo) - 3:14

5. Willing to Learn (Castillo/Kupka) - 6:06

6. Souled Out (Castillo/Kupka/McClain) - 4:58

7. Diggin' on James Brown (Castillo/Kessie/Kupka) - 4:53

8. (To Say the Least) You're the Most (Watson/Williams) - 4:33

9. You Strike My Main Nerve (Castillo/Grodon/Kupka/Williams) - 3:55

10. Can't You See (You Doin' Me Wrong) (Castillo/Kupka/Williams) - 3:26

11. You Got to Funkifize (Castillo/Kupka) - 4:46

12. So Very Hard to Go (Castillo/Kupka) - 3:49

13. What Is Hip? (Castillo/Garibaldi/Kupka) - 6:01

14. You're Still a Young Man (Castillo/Kupka) - 5:59

15. So I Got to Groove (Castillo/Kupka/Matthews) - 6:08
