It really Helps when you get the artist right Have you ever listen to a song on radio and automatically assumed it was one artist/group when it was another.?
For instance up to recently I thought "Natural High" was sang by the Delfonics and I went to practically every record shop looking for the song and of course it was proving difficcult to find.  I later found out it was by Bloodstone and that did help finding the record.  | |

There are many songs that people assume are by one artist but are actually by another. Two examples I see all the time:
"Bitch" by Meredith Brooks, not Alanis Morrissette "I Swear" by All 4 One, not Boys II Men Stand at the crossroads, and look, and ask for the ancient paths...(Jeremiah 6:16) www.ancientfaithradio.com

How bout a story from yesterday at work.
I had the speakerphone on while I was on hold... the music was "Don't Get Me Wrong" My co-worker (the one who switched my David Bowie with his DMX cd) says "Hey, who sings this?" I'm like, "The Pretenders" 
He's like.... "No! The Pretenders are TWO GUYS!" 
Me: "  You're thinking of The Proclaimers..."

I remember during the 70s when I was very young and there was so little RnB/Soul groups that were really well known in the UK. I thought;
"The Best of My Love" by the Emotions, "Sweet Dreamer" by the Sweet Inspirations and even Prince's "I wanna Be Your Lover" were by the Jacksons/J5. Talk about Ignorance being bliss.. | |
