I'm looking out for this one. Apparently it was released already but I haven't seen it in the store.

"Freedom of Speak (We Got Three Minutes)" (2:59) "Strickly Dan Stuckie" (0:42) "Jenifa (Taught Me)" [12" Version] (4:42) "Skip To My Loop" (1:12) "Potholes in My Lawn" [12" Version] (3:46) "Me, Myself & I" [Oblapos Mode] (3:31) "Ain't Hip to be Labeled a Hippie" (1:50) "What's More (From the Soundtrack Hell of 1st Avenue)" (2:05) "Brain Washed Follower" (2:49) "Say No Go" [New Keys Vocal] (4:45) "The Mack Daddy on the Left" (2:31) "Double Huey Skit" (3:52) "Ghetto Thang" [Ghetto Ximer] (3:52) "Eye Know" [The Know It All Mix] (7:12) Wow, I wasn't aware they re-issued this CD. Wait a minute, was it digitally remasterred? I purchased this CD (i had the album version in the 80's) around 2002 but the sound sucks, you have to turn the bass abd volume up on your stereo.

Their criminally overlooked masterpiece? [Edited 5/24/06 11:32am] With arguably their best song ever "The Bizness" featuring Common. I STILL bump that shit on the ride! Living to die and I'll die to live again - 360 degrees - comprehend

Nah bro, I mean, De La Soul is Dead is a great CD, but 3 Feet high just sounded so fresh and unique and every song was cranking. The music was a little more creative. I will say, that Rollerskating joint was the shit though.

One of the hottest beats they've ever had, one of the hottest tracks they've ever had. My favorite is still the title track. It was in the vein of "Rebel Without A Pause" to me. De La's singles catalogue - http://www.mattscdsingles...l_128.html It is a mix CD staple for me. I dig Ego Trip, and the remix of Ego Trip as well. Good night, sweet Prince | 7 June 1958 - 21 April 2016

All this De La talk makes me want to pull out an album. The only one I have at work though is 'Timeless'.
Better than nothing. | |

Yeah, I knew that disc was missing something integral. I have it on something else anyway.

Well if you bought it in 2002 I wonder if you got the 2001 reissue. Supposedly it has been remastered, but I still have to crank up the volume on that disc and pump up the bass. Playing it side to side with my old cd (yes I've bought it more than once) I notice that Tommy Boy's reissue in 2001 is much clearer on the high end. syballance, syballance
